Dine for a Cause at Spice Cafe in Lakeville
A portion of meals and drinks will go to the Philippine Red Cross for victims of Typhoon Haiyan.
Residents can Dine for a Cause at Spice Cafe early this week. The Thai restaurant will donate 10 percent of meals and drinks purchased on Tuesday to the Philippine Red Cross.
The Philippine Red Cross is assisting the millions that have been affected by Typhoon Haiyan. It is the "largest humanitarian organization in the country," according to the Red Cross. The Philippine Red Cross is participating in search and rescue, as well as providing food and shelter.
Spice Cafe is located at Lakeville Crossing, 7704 160th Street. The restaurant will be open from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. for the event.
