Lakeville Outdoor Skating Rinks Open Dec. 21
The opening coincides with the first day of winter.
Lakeville’s outdoor skating rinks and warming houses open on Saturday, Dec. 21, weather permitting, the city has announced.
When rinks have opened, call the numbers associated with each warming house for the most current status of the skating rink.
The warming houses are listed below:
- Cherryview Park: 7925 175th St. W. - hockey boards and pleasure
- Dakota Heights Park: 9550 175th St. W. - hockey boards and pleasure
- Greenridge Park: 17685 Flagstaff Ave. - hockey boards and pleasure
- Highview Heights: 16314 Havelock Way - hockey boards and pleasure
- McGuire Middle School: 8600 210th St. W. - two hockey boards
- Meadows Park: 20707 Jacquard Ave. - hockey boards and pleasure
- Parkview Park: 6833 Gerdine Path - hockey boards and pleasure
- Prairie Lake Park: 18179 Kingsway Path - hockey boards and pleasure
Some of the hockey rinks are reserved for hockey during certain hours. The schedule will be posted at the rinks.
Public skating hours are:
- 4 p.m. to 9 p.m. Monday-Friday
- 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. Saturday
- 12 p.m. to 8 p.m. Sunday
