Artists from Lakeville Pottery Studio Create 100 'Empty Bowls'
The soup bowls will be available during the Holiday Art Sale at the Lakeville Area Arts Center.
The annual Holiday Art Sale is returning to the Lakeville Area Arts Center. The sale features artwork by students and instructors from the arts center. Featured work comes from a variety of mediums, such as jewelry, pottery and mixed media.
During the sale, the Lakeville Area Arts Center pottery studio will sponsor an empty bowls fundraiser. Potters donated their time to create 100 soup bowls, according a news release from the arts center.
Shoppers can purchase bowls for a suggested donation of $10 each. Proceeds will benefit local food shelves, which can purchase foods in bulk.

The Holiday Art Sale begins on Saturday, Nov. 23 from 9 am. to 3 p.m. Shop the sale through Dec. 5 during business hours and events.
