The Dakota County Drug Task Force found a total of 15 bags of marijuana in the Farmington home.

Members of the Dakota County Drug Task Force arrested a Lakeville resident who admitted to living three days each week in a home where they found a total of 635.47 grams of marijuana.

Michael Lewis Lantow, 27 was was charged with fifth-degree possession of a controlled substance, a felony.

Cameron William Cain, 21, of Farmington, who also lived in the house, was not home at the time of the search. Cain was later arrested and also charged with felony fifth-degree possession of a controlled substance.

According to the complaint, the task force executed a search warrant on the 18200 block of Emerald Trail in Farmington the afternoon of Aug. 16, 2013. The first room they search appeared to belong to Cain. There they found nine bags of marijuana—three in a chair and six in a closet—that contained a total of 367.04 grams of marijuana, according to preliminary testing.

In the next room, which Lantow admitted belonged to him, the task force found five bags of marijuana on a couch that contained a total of 268.43 grams of marijuana. Lantow also admitted that the bags of marijuana belong to him, according to the complaint.

Officers also found an unspecified amount of marijuana in a bag on the dining room table.

When officers later spoke with Cain, he told them that the first bedroom and the bags of marijuana found there belonged to him.
