Pan-O-Prog Day 9: Friday Night is Cruise Night

Also planned for July 12: Fun fair, street market, youth play day.

Lakeville will turn into the cruising capital of Minnesota on Friday with the Pan-O-Prog’s annual cruise night.

Here is information about the event from the Pan-O-Prog website:

CLASSIC CAR CRUISE: Join us for a night of nostalgia.  Take a step back in time as you watch over 500 classic cars cruise down Holyoke Avenue.  Cars 20+ years old and special interest vehicles will start cruising at 6:30 at the corner of Holyoke and 210th, proceed north on Holyoke to Hwy 50, then head over to Cedar Avenue.   150 classic cars will be on display downtown after the cruise, so be sure to check them out.  Downtown will be hopping with many other activities as well…food vendors, entertainment, and music. CRUISER REGISTRATION: Registration begins at 3:30 at the Lakeville South High School lot.  Cruise starts promptly at 6:30.   Cost is $10/car, which includes a Pan O Prog button and dash plaque. Food vendors and music will be available for your enjoyment during the registration process.   For more details, click on flyer icon below.

MISS LAKEVILLE RESULTS

Erica Elias was crowned as Miss Lakeville 2013 during the Miss Lakeville Scholarship Program at Lakeville South High School on Wednesday night, according to Pan-O-Prog’s Facebook page.  The first runner-up was Nicole Roach. The second runner-up was Sarah Barnes.

Elias and her court made an appearance at Thursday morning’s Pan-O-Prog pet show at Antlers Park.

MEDALLION FOUND

The Pan-O-Prog medallion was found on Thursday.

Here is the message posted Thursday afternoon on Pan-O-Prog’s Facebook page: NEWS FLASH! Medallion has been found. No other details at the moment.

Patch will update when information about winner and location of the medallion is announced.
