Winter Gone in Lakeville? Ice Out on Lake Marion

Despite snow in the forecast for Friday, the ice on Lake Marion is gone.

Spring, by some measures, is here. Finally.

The ice is out on Lakeville's Lake Marion.

The ice disappeared on Monday, and by Tuesday morning, city workers were putting the docks back out into the lake.

But the news isn't all springy.

The National Weather Service is forecasting snow to fall Thursday night and Friday. It's too early to say how much snow may fall, but reports say it could be enough to plow.
