The Lakeville North girls lacrosse team fell short in its drive for the state title, losing to defending champion The Blake School, 14-12, in Saturday's championship game.

Lacrosse has been a MSHSL sponsored state tournament event since 2007. The Blake School has been in the state championship game each year since that time winning for the fourth consecutive year and fifth overall.
Lydia Sutton and Jordan Chancellor each scored 4 goals and Annie Lyman scored 3 for the Bears. Sutton scored two goals in the first two minutes of
the game and the Bears never trailed the rest of the game.
Hannah Koloski and Emmie Madsen each scored 3 goals for Lakeville North.
