An 'Amish Barn Wood Cabin' for Books in Lakeville?
This Little Free Library project needs $550 by Oct. 11, 2013.
A Kickstarter campaign to raise money for a new "Little Free Library" in Lakeville began Wednesday. As of Thursday morning, the effort has $80 toward its goal of $550, which must be raised by Oct. 15.
"Due to the hash winter conditions of Minnesota, we would like to purchase the Amish Barn Wood Cabin. ... A potential risk of this project would be potential vandalism. However, by placing it in our front yard, we are hoping that having the Free Little Library in sight will ward off any attempts. Another potential challenge would be running out of books. We are hopeful that individuals will both take and leave books though."
