Mary Ajax
Mary Ajax is the President and CEO of 360 Communities. Mary's career began with 360 Communities in 1975. She oversaw the creation of all of the agency's violence prevention work including the first safe home built in the country for women and children. Under Mary's leadership, 360 Communities strengthens communities through school success in eight school districts, violence prevention, New American Services and sustained life success services. In 2003, the Minnesota Medical Association awarded Mary with the "Stop the Violence Award". Marking her 30th anniversary with 360 Communities in 2005, Governor Pawlenty named April 25th 2005 as "Mary Ajax Day", in honor of her community accomplishments. Mary was also recognized by the Minnesota State University, Mankato with the 2007 Distinguished Alumni Humanitarian Award for her exceptional dedication and service to humankind. She holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology from Minnesota State University, Mankato. Mary serves on the Fairview Minnesota Valley Care System Board of Trustees, is a past president of the Burnsville Rotary Club and a past chair of the United Way Council of Agency Executives.
