Lakeville Fire Department, Neighbor

The Lakeville Fire Department was established in 1884 as a volunteer organization to provide fire protection for Lakeville and the surrounding area.<br><br>The fire department provides excellent fire protection for all Lakeville property owners. The Insurance Service Organization has assigned Lakeville an excellent fire protection rating of four, which earns lower insurance premiums for residents and businesses.

The Lakeville Fire Department participates in a Mutual Aid Agreement with cities in Dakota and Scott Counties and the Metropolitan Airports Commission, sharing manpower and equipment resources, if needed.

Lakeville has four fire stations serving the city.
