The Minnesota State High School League has called an audible—changed the play at the line. And now, after routing conference foe Eagan 48-21 in its section playoff opener, the Lakeville North Panthers are scheduled to face a relatively unknown opponent Friday as the section football playoffs continue. In addition to creating the new Class 6A this season for the 32 most populous schools, the MSHSL has also altered the playoff structure for the class, meaning Lakeville North, the No. 2 seed in Section 3AAAAAA, will host Roseville, the No. 5 seed in Section 4AAAAAA, in a combined section matchup.
