'Pedal the Parks' to Showcase Lakeville's Parks and Trails
Family friendly and free event offers bicycle routes, music, farmer's market.
Bicycle, autumn weather, and Lakeville park enthusiasts are all in luck this weekend. Lakeville's fourth annual Pedal the Parks is set to roll through town on Saturday, Sept. 22. The Lakeville Friends of the Environment, Bike Alliance of Minnesota and Lakeville Parks and Recreation Department are teaming to bring a day of bike rides through Lakeville's parks and trails, as well as music, refreshments and even a bike rodeo to town. The event is free and family friendly, says Patty Soldner, who is helping organize the event. That said, donations are accepted by volunteers to help offset costs.
