Editor's note: The following is a letter to Lakeville Area Public School parents, students and families, from Superintendent Dr. Lisa Snyder addressing the tragic events at Sandy Hook Elementary School in Newtown, CT, on Friday. By now all of you have heard about the tragic events that occurred yesterday at an elementary school in Connecticut. I want to personally assure you that safety is our absolute number one priority.
