Obermueller Compares Michele Bachmann to Joe McCarthy

Former state legislator Mike Obermueller, who is campaigning to unseat Republican U.S. Rep. John Kline in the Second District, accused Bachmann of "political dramatics."

Congressional candidate Mike Obermueller has jumped into the foray over U.S. Rep. Michele Bachmann’s recent accusations that Congressman Keith Ellison is tied to the Muslim Brotherhood. According to his statement: “Michele Bachmann’s baseless personal attacks on Huma Abedin and Congressman Keith Ellison are exactly the kind of nonsense that people hate about Washington—too much time spent on political dramatics and not nearly enough time getting things done ...
