A Tragedy Averted Deputies responded to a car that went off the road in the area of Blackbird and Ravenna Trail. The driver was the lone occupant of the vehicle, which was very fortunate. The car slidinto a fence, resulting in a support post coming through the windshield on the passenger’s side of the car. As the photo shows, had there been a passenger in the car they would have been seriously injured and possibly killed. Deputy Brian Smidt responded to the call.
