In 1984, Ann Proudfoot established Danceworks Performing Art in a 1200-square-foot studio. Since then, it has expanded to a 14,000-square-foot facility. It has instructors, professional dancers and great artists with years of experience. The primary focus is to teach dance; Danceworks inspires and challenges dancers.  

The studio is located on the northwest corner of 175th and Dodd in Lakeville. It also includes a women's fitness center. Healthworks provides cardiac, resistance and strength training with state of the art equipment.
