The Dakota County Heritage Library opened in 2000 and is one of eight branches of libraries in the Dakota County library system. The library system is part of the seven-county Metropolitan Library Service Agency group of libraries, offering joint programming and reciprocity privileges to cardholders.<br /> <br /> Heritage Library is located in the same building as the Dakota County License Center and adjacent to the Lakeville City Hall, along Heritage Drive, near downtown Lakeville.
