"Junie B. in Jingle Bells, Batman Smells"


"Only how can Junie B. enjoy the festivities when Tattletale May keeps ruining her holiday glee? The worst part of all is when everyone picks names for Secret Santa, Junie B. gets stuck with Tattletale you-know-who! It’s enough to fizzle your holiday spirit! Hmm . . . or is it? Maybe, just maybe, a Secret Santa gift is the perfect opportunity to give May exactly what she deserves."

When: 7:30 p.m. Friday and Saturday, Dec. 13-14; 2 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 15
Where: Lakeville Area Arts Center, 
Tickets: $13, Purchase online or by calling 952-985-4640. 

Skate with Santa

There will be music, games, prizes and a visit with Santa.

When: 5:15 p.m. to 7:15 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 14
Where: Hasse Arena, 8525 215th Street West.
Tickets: The event is free with a food shelf donation. Registration is not required. Skate rental is $3.

Lakeville Police Department Toys for Tots

The Lakeville Police Department started collecting Toys for Tots in 2005 in a tradition that has continued through today. 

Drop off new, unwrapped toys at the following locations until 12 p.m. on Thursday, Dec. 19:

  • City Hall: 20195 Holyoke Ave.
  • Police Station: 9237 183rd St.
  • Fire Station #4: 9465 185th St. W.
  • Water Treatment Facility: 18400 Ipava Ave.
  • Central Maintenance Facility: 7570 179th St. W.

Monetary donations are also accepted. Write checks to: Toys for Tots Twin Cities.
