Dog Agility, Games, Horses, and a Gala
This weekend in Lakeville meet some horses, have a picnic and win prizes at various events throughout the city.
Library Picnic and Storytime
You can bring your picnic lunch and enjoy storytime for kids ages 0-6 in the Heritage Library Meeting Room. Time: Friday, Oct. 4 at 12 p.m.
Lakeville License Center
The Lakeville License Center will be closed on Saturday, Oct. 5 for a disaster recovery excercise (see photo above). Heritage Library will remain open.
Dog Agility Demo
The outdoor event at Heritage Library will showcase dogs jumping through hoops and crawling through tunnels. Time: Saturday, Oct. 5 at 10:30 a.m.
St. John's Lutheran Fall Festival
It's an annual event for all ages that includes games, prizes and food from Sammie's Food Truck. Time: Sunday, Oct. 6 from 12 to 3 p.m. St. John's Lutheran Church in Lakeville is located at 20165 Heath Avenue.
Golden Ridge Stables Open House
Pony rides, face painting and riding demonstrations are part of this free event at Golden Ridge Stables. Time: Sunday, Oct. 6 from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. The stable is located at 8315 190th Street West in Lakeville.
Kids 'n Kinship Gala
The gala will feature Tim Mahoney, a silent auction and the opportunity to learn more about Kids 'n Kinship. To buy tickets and learn more, visit the event page on Lakeville Patch. Time: Sunday, Oct. 6 at 4:30 p.m.
