Cheer on Lakeville Sports Teams This Weekend
Also this weekend is a blood drive in Apple Valley and a musical at the Lakeville Area Arts Center.
Here are some weekend events in the Lakeville area from Nov. 1-3.
Football
Lakeville North will play Cretin-Derham Hall at Lakeville North High School.
Lakeville South will play Roseville at Roseville High school, 1240 County Road B2 West.
Both games are on Friday, Nov. 1 at 7 p.m.
The Roots of Liberty Seminar
During “The Roots of Liberty" seminar, KrisAnne Hall will share about the history of the constitution. The cost of the seminar is $20. Snacks and lunch will be provided. To receive lunch, register by Oct. 31.
Time: Saturday, Nov. 1 from 9:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
Location: Lakeville South High School, 21135 Jacquard Avenue
Sassy Sista's Boutique and American Red Cross Blood Drive
There will be more than 20 vendors at the Sassy Sista's Boutique event at Old Chicago. A blood drive will be held at the same time. Donors will receive a coupon for $5 off $25 or more spent at Old Chicago.
Time: Saturday, Nov. 2 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.
Location: 14998 Glazier Avenue in Apple Valley
Cross Country
The Class AA State Meet is at St. Olaf College on Saturday. The Lakeville North and Lakeville South girls cross country teams will run in the meet.
The Lakeville North boys cross country team will also participate, as well as two runners from the Lakeville South boys cross country team.
Time: The girls meet starts at 10 a.m. and the boys meet starts at 11 a.m. on Saturday, Nov. 2.
"Children's Letters to God"
The Lakeville Area Arts Center is showing the musical during the weekend. Tickets are $18 for adults and $15 for seniors and students. Purchase tickets online or at the Lakeville Area Arts Center, located at 20965 Holyoke Avenue.
Showtimes: Saturday, Nov. 2 at 2 p.m. and 7:30 p.m.; Sunday, Nov. 3 at 3 p.m.
Volleyball
Lakeville North will play Eagan in the section 3AAA tournament finals.
Time: Saturday, Nov. 2 at 7 p.m.
Location: Prior Lake High School, 7575 150th Street West in Savage
