Block Bash, First Anniversary for Lakeville Business: Weekend Planner

The first ever Downtown Lakeville Business Association Block Bash will be 6 p.m. to 11 p.m. Friday, Aug. 23 at Market Plaza in downtown Lakeville featuring music by The Killer Hayseeds and Phil Halstead. Foodtrucks, beers and spirits will also be onsite. 

The Wounded Warriors Family Support Mustang will be stopping approximately 7:30 p.m. Aug. 23 at the Sports Clips in Lakeville, located at 17440 Kenwood Trail, according to the Lakeville Area Chamber of Commerce website. Wounded Warriors Family Support's High Five Tour rallies Americans to say "thank you" and show their appreciation to our country's military family for their sacrifices, according to the website. There will be refreshments and door prizes.

Perfectly Random will celebrate their first anniversary this weekend, according to the Downtown Lakeville website. There will be daily drawings for prizes, special gifts with purchase and treats. It is 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Friday, Aug. 23 and 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 24. Perfectly Random is located at 20770 Holyoke Avenue in Lakeville. No cover, must be 21 or older with valid identification. 

Find locally grown produce at the Farmers Market 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 24. The market is located at the Lakeville Arts Center, Holyoke Avenue and 210th Street in downtown Lakeville. 

Take in a Prairie Fire Theatre performance of Sleeping Beauty 7 p.m. Aug. 23 and 10 a.m. Aug. 24 at the Lakeville Area Arts Center, 20965 Holyoke Avenue. More information: 952-985-4640.
