Pan-O-Prog Seeking Volunteers to Help July 6-7

The following is an email from David Barres, Pan-O-Prog's volunteer coordinator:

I am the Pan-O-Prog volunteer coordinator and I ask for your assistance. We have had an excellent volunteer response to our Festival but we are short of people on Friday, July 6 and Saturday, July 7.

I have the following shifts available and really need your help in finding people so we can have a terrific event. Volunteers will receive a really nice volunteer t-shirt or you can wear your company logo shirt (free advertising). The best thing is you get the peace of mind in knowing you helped your community festival!

Pan-O-Prog Ambassadors, Downtown Lakeville/Market Plaza: mainly pick up trash, change out trash cans, answer questions, and hand out brochures. Work in groups of twos. Walking main street, art center grounds, and market plaza. 

In Market Plaza there will be cleaning off tables, picking up trash, and changing out trash barrels. The shifts below are the minimum amount of people, additional people on each shift would be helpful.

We can customize shifts, those presented below are presented as minimum hours. ( We can work with groups of differing age groups, i.e. an adult with two twelve year olds.) T-shirts or vests will be provided.

• 7/6/12                   5:00 pm - 8:00pm      6 people
• 7/6/12                   7:30 pm - 10:00pm    6 people
• 7/7/12                   11:30 am - 2:30 pm    6 people
• 7/7/12                   2:30 pm – 5:30 pm      6 people

Grand Parade: 16 volunteers prior and during parade to assist with parade floats, water distribution, at traffic checkpoints to direct traffic, etc. Two Shifts:  3:00-5:00pm (parade preparation) and 5:00 - 8:00pm (during parade).

• 7/7/12                   5:00- 8:00pm  8 people

Royalty Reception, Lakeville Arts Center: 3 volunteers needed for two shifts:  3:00 - 4:00pm (setup) and 4:00 - 5:30pm (cleanup).
