Panthers to Face Eastview in Girl's Basketball Section Finals

Lakeville North defeated Park, Cottage Grove Saturday night.

The Lakeville North girls basketball team edged Park Cottage Grove on Saturday in Section 3AAAA play, beating the Wolfpack 62-40 at St. Olaf College in Northfield.

The win puts the Panthers (26-2) in the section championship against Eastview on Friday at 7 p.m. in Northfield.

McKenzie Hoelmenn led the way for North with 16 points, while Apiew Ojulu had 15 and Rachel Banham had 10.

For Park, Larissa Lurken had 15 points and Sydney Lambety finished with 12.
