REPLAY: Lakeville North Rips Lakeville South, 47-24, in Football Opener

UPDATE:

Lakeville North came out victorious on Thursday night with a 47-24 win over South in the opener for both schools.

South opened the scoring in the first quarter, but it was all North after that.

 High School hosts  in an epic rivalry battle to kick off the high school football season for both schools tonight at 7 p.m.

Through a partnership with the Minnesota Sports Broadcasting Network (MSBN), Lakeville Patch is proud to bring you a livestreaming video broadcast of the Lakeville North vs. Lakeville South high school football game.

The Panthers, who concluded the 2011 season as the third-ranked team in Class AAAAA, swept the season series from South last year—winning 30-6 in the regular season on Oct. 7 and 24-14 in the Section 1AAAAA playoff opener Oct. 29. Both of last season's games were played at North.

Adam Bartles and Jon Wekkin of MSBN will be on the mics broadcasting tonight’s game and you’ll be able to watch it right here on Lakeville Patch.
