Lakeville South Runners 'Push Each Other' — In a Good Way
The girls cross country team is featured in the Star Tribune.
Lakeville South High School's girls cross country team finished sixth in the state in Class 2A in 2012, the Star Tribune reported, and the team hasn't lost any members to graduation so they're striving for another successful season.
“We’re doing a lot of pack running, and really pushing each other," coach Jessica Just told the newspaper.
“My favorite part is that, in a race, you run next to a teammate and you know that they’re in as much pain as you are, but just their presence there, it pushes you," senior Erin Kilbride said.
