Lakeville's Cameron Naasz Second in Red Bull Crashed Ice Season Opener

Lakeville South graduate Cameron Naasz finished second in the first Red Bull Crashed Ice event of the season.

Last year, 2008 Lakeville South graduate Cameron Naasz was the Red Bull Crashed Ice rookie of the year.

This year—Naasz finished second, losing to defending world champion Kyle Croxall in the season's Niagra Falls kick-off event of the 2012/13 Ice Cross Downhill World Championship.

Not only did Naasz finish second, he also had the fastest shoot out time at the competition.

For more on the event, check out the SportsNet recap.

Red Bull Crashed Ice returns to St.Paul on Jan. 26, and Naasz will likely be the favorite to watch.
