Lakeville North, South Squads Getting Games In When They Can
Cougars, Panthers able to compete in majority of Thursday sports schedule after more mid-week postponements.
After another round of mid-week postponements, Lakeville North and South teams were mostly able to compete again on Thursday, with as both the Cougars and Panthers took part in a weather-cooperative day of athletic events.
North Baseball: Panthers 11, Bloomington Kennedy 2
An 11-2 defeat of Bloomington Kennedy boosted the Lakeville North baseball team above the .500 mark at 5-4 overall and 5-3 in the South Suburban Conference standings.

Starting pitcher Tyler Brekke improved to 3-1 with a complete game three-hit, four-strikeout performance while Austin Streit went 4-for-4 at the plate with three runs batted in and Even Cordell going 3-for-3 with five RBI in the win.
The Panthers are scheduled to play at Eastview at 4:15 p.m. Friday night.

South Baseball: Eagan 5, Cougars 4
In spite of Mike Grazzini's two-run home run, the Lakeville South baseball team lost by a 5-4 score to visiting Eagan.
Pitcher Jacob Miller took the loss as the Cougars fell to 4-3 overall and 3-3 in the South Suburban, with a trip to Burnsville for a 7 p.m. game on Friday scheduled.
North Girls Lacrosse: Panthers 12, Eagan/Rosemount 11
The Lakeville North girls lacrosse team improved to 3-2 on the spring with a 12-11 overtime win at Eagan/Rosemount in a South Suburban contest on Thursday.
Hannah Kolosi leads the Panthers with 14 goals, with Kacie Waagbo netting 12 goals and 11 assists so far this season.
North is scheduled to play at Apple Valley at 1:30 p.m. Saturday.
South and North Girls Golf: Panthers Second, Cougars Fifth In Conference Meet
The Lakeville North and South girls golf teams finished second and fifth, respectively, with scores of 345 and 359 at the South Suburban meet at Crystal Lake Golf Course on Thursday. Individual results were not available.
South Boys Golf: Cougars Tie For 12th At Brainerd Invitational
The Lakeville South boys golf team recorded a score of 327 to tie for 12th with Buffalo in the Brainerd Invitational at the Preserve Golf Course on Thursday. Individual results were not available.
South Boys Tennis: Rosemount 7, Cougars 0
The Lakeville South boys tennis team lost 7-0 to Rosemount on Thursday. Individual results were not available.
