Lakeville North's boys basketball team lost to Park Center 74-72 in the quarterfinals of the State Boys High School Basketball Tournament.

A year after losing at the boys basketball team lost at the buzzer again at state.

This time the Panthers were felled by the Park Center Pirates—74-72—in a thrilling quarterfinal game at this year's State Boys High School Basketball Tournament.

The Panthers were down 16 points at halftime and at one time trailed by 19, but made a furious charge to tie the game at the end of regulation of the game at Target Center.

Overtime was a back and forth affair, that ended with Park Center's Isaac Matthews tipped in Quinton Hooker's miss in the final seconds of overtime.

North's JP Macura had 26 points. Park Center's Hooker had a game-high 29 points.
