Lakeville North Legion Advances in District Play
North will face Eagan on Thursday in Shakopee.
The Lakeville North American Legion baseball team advanced in the District 3 tournament on Wednesday with a 10-0 win over Chanhassen at Tahpah Park in Shakopee.
North entered the game as the 13th seed in the district tournament and pulled an upset over the fourth-seeded Chanhassen squad. North won the game by 10 runs in seven innings.
The win sets up a matchup with Eagan on Thursday. First pitch is set for 7:30 p.m. in Shakopee.

Eagan advanced in the tournament by defeating Shakopee 11-1 on Wednesday.
Three teams from District 3 will advance to the state tournament next weekend. Lakeville North is three wins away from winning the district tournament.
