Lakeville North will compete in the girls soccer and girls tennis singles state tournaments this week.
The fourth-seeded Lakeville North girls soccer team will face Mahtomedi, a fifth-seeded team, in the state class AA tournament. This year marks the third consecutive year Lakeville North has appeared in the state soccer tournament. Last year the team finished in third place.
The game starts at 7 p.m. on Wednesday, Oct. 23 at Park High School.
Lakeville North tennis player Lori Ahuja will compete in the class AA singles tournament. Ahuja, a junior, will face Isabella Lambert, an 8th grader who is on the Minnetonka High School team. Lambert is seeded third in the tournament. Their match starts at 8 a.m. on Thursday, Oct. 24 at the University of Minnesota.
Second-seed Lakeville North will play seventh-seed Burnsville in the section 3AAAAAA tournament at home on Friday, Oct. 25 at 7 p.m.
Third-seed Lakeville South will play sixth-seed Eagan in the same section. It's a home game for Lakeville South on Friday, Oct. 25 at 7 p.m.
