Lakeville Student Finishes First at Whitetail Ridge Mountain Bike Race
Cianna Swanson took first in the girls junior varsity division of the race and another student finished third in the same division.
The Minnesota High School Cycling League held a recent mountain bike race at Whitetail Ridge in River Falls Wisconsin.
Nearly 300 racers competed in the Oct. 13 race, including several students from Lakeville North and South High Schools, who are part of the Burnsville/Lakeville High School Mountain Bike Team.
Lakeville student Cianna Swanson (Bib 221) finished in first place in the girls junior varsity division with a time of 00:58:19.233, according to preliminary race results. Another junior varsity student, Nicole Jensen, finished third with a time of 01:03:46.836.
