PANTHERS WIN IF ...
They don’t have a letdown after a huge win over Lakeville South last week. The Panthers are the more well-rounded team and need to take it to Kennedy early to eliminate any hopes the improving Eagles have of pulling off the upset. Lakeville North will likely need its front seven to wrap up Lexis Jones to keep the elusive back from having any big gains. The Panthers averaged 5.1 yards per rush last week, a number that, if duplicated, should open up a dangerous passing game.
EAGLES WIN IF ...
The good Kennedy team shows up: the one that beat Eastview three weeks ago and the one that scored 21 fourth-quarter points to pull away from Jefferson last week. Kennedy cannot fall way behind early and be forced to rely on its passing game against an aggressive defense.
