Photos: Lakeville North Panthers Beat Bloomington Jefferson 11-10 in Baseball Classic

The Panthers rally back and beat the Jaguars 11-10 in extra innings Monday night.

It was a chilly game Monday night, the Lakeville North Panther baseball team defeated the Bloomington Jefferson Jaguars, 11-10, in a game in Lakeville.

The Panthers got off to a strong start, scoring four runs right away in the frist inning to take a quick control of the game.  But the Jaguars wouldn't wait long to respond, scoring four of there own in the second inning. Lakeville would take the lead back in the fourth innig, after scoring one more run. But the Jaguars would respond with another four run inning in the fifth.

The Panthers would hang on, scoring one run in both the fifth and the sixth, but the Jaguars would also score two more in the sixth, heading into the final inning ahead of the Panthers 10-7.  Lakeville would not give up though, and would tie the game in the bottom of the seventh 10-10, sending the game into extra innings.

The Panthers would have the basesloaded at the bottom of the eighth inning when Alex Hanneman hit a ball in the gap in the outfield, bringing home with winning run. The Panthers would win the game at 11-10.
