Lakeville School District to Offer Online Option for Students

Lakeville Area Public Schools will be offering online options for students this fall.

It looks like the Lakeville school district will be offering online education this fall.

The Minnesota Department of Education approved the school district's request to offer online education earlier this month. Enrollment in Lakeville's online education program, Link12, will be open to students in kindergarten through 12th grade, according to a report by the Pioneer Press

Lakeville is one of two metro school districts that will be implementing online education this fall. The other is Anoka-Hennepin, according to KSTP.

Students from across Minnesota will be able to enroll in Lakeville's online program. The school district will use new and existing staff to run the online classes.
