Lakeville North Volleyball Takes Second in Bachman Invitational
Panthers defeat New Prague, Hibbing and Hill-Murray but fall to Marshall in championship game
The volleyball team faced off against Hill-Murray on Saturday for the right to play in the 27th annual Bachman Invitational championship game.
The Panthers beat the Pioneers in three games in the best out of three format for the tournament, after letting Hill-Murray come back and take the second game by a score of 25-23. But the Panthers defended their home court in the third game and won by a score of 15-11.
To get to the semifinal game, the Lakeville North team won their round robin group by defeating New Prague and Hibbing.

In the championship game, Lakeville North lost in three games to Marshall (25-23, 19-25, 18-20).
The Lakeville North team (18-4) will next travel to Apple Valley for a match on Oct. 11.
