Lakeville North Girls Suffer Heartbreaking Loss at State

The Lakeville North girls hockey team falls to Minnetonka 2-1 in overtime

Leading 1-0 and heading into the final minute of play, seemed to be able to handle the pressure of fending off Minnetonka's relentless offensive attack, even as the Skippers had an extra attacker.

But with 21 seconds left to play, Sidney Morin scored for Minnetonka, sending the game into overtime.

In overtime, the noticeably exhausted teams traded offensive opportunities, until Minnetonka scored 6:21 into the extra period.

Lakeville North will face Edina in the third place game tomorrow at 4 p.m. at the Xcel Energy Center in St. Paul.

I went to the Lakeville food shelf today to donate food & couldn't find it. It said it was inRead More suite 139 but I couldn't find it. Crazy numbering system on the suites. Disappointing.
