Lakeville North Marching in Gator Bowl Parade, Halftime Show

The parade will stream live on New Year's Eve.

The Lakeville North Marching Band has traveled to Jacksonville, Fla. to participate in and compete in Gator Bowl events.

On Monday, the band participated in a Gator Bowl field competition, and on New Year's Eve, the band will line up to march in the Gator Bowl Parade.

The parade starts at 2 p.m. CST. It will be aired on WJXT Channel 4, a local station in Florida, and online at: www.news4jax.com.

On Jan. 1, the band will participate in the Gator Bowl Halftime Show with high school bands from across the country.

The University of Georgia will play the University of Nebraska in the Gator Bowl game, which starts at 11 a.m. CST. Watch the game on ESPN or on WatchESPN

Apart from the Gator Bowl, the band will also march in Disney's "Celebrate a Dream Come True" parade at Disney World's Magic Kingdom on Jan. 3.
