Juan, our Rotary Youth Exchange Program student has finished his year at Lakeville South and will soon be heading back to Spain. Juan lived with two Lakeville Rotary families for the school year and he gave a final thank you to the Club today detailing his journey in America.
Juan presented a slide show with lots of pictures and memories from Buck Hill, ice fishing, a mission trip to Washington D.C., meeting Ricky Rubio at Target Center and a trip to New York. As Juan was here, Lakeville had students with other Rotary Clubs in France and Japan.
We expect a new exchange student next fall from Argentina and we look forward to the shared learnings. Rotary Youth Exchange is a terrific program and we wish Juan well in his future travels!
