November Permit Numbers: Fees Down Month to Date, Up for Year

According to the report, Lakeville issued 353 permits in November, which is actually up from 270 in November of last year. But the $79,653.74 in fees collected this year are far shy of the $91,483.37 collected last November.

The permit numbers include all permits issued, including building permits for new home construction, all the way down to permits for home renovations and even sign permits.

Meanwhile, year to date, the city of Lakeville has issued a total of 4,646 permits totaling $1,084,898.54. That's an increase of 902 permits more than 2011, generating a whopping $345,983 more over the first eleven months of 2012 than that of 2011.

Most of those dollars come from the more lucrative single family building permits.
