Travel on I-35 just got harder.
It's going to be one lane in each direction from County Road 50 in Lakeville to County Road 2 in Elko/New Market starting Tuesday at 8 p.m. and continuing into November.
Northbound and southbound traffic in that stretch will be on the same side of the freeway so crews can repair the concrete pavement.
Also the northbound I-35 ramps from County Road 60/185th Street and northbound I-35 to County Road 50 will close. Drivers will take County Road 50 to access northbound I-35.
You can sign up for email updates at the Minnesota Department of Transportation website for the project. MnDOT also offers real-time travel information for anywhere in Minnesota.
