Meeting Preview: Lakeville School Board to Hear Enrollment, CLEC Updates

The District 194 Board of Education will conduct two meetings on Tuesday night. The city's economic development commission also meets Tuesday.

School District 194 Board of Education members will be busy with a pair of meetings scheduled for Tuesday.

On tap are a special meeting at 6 p.m., followed by the board’s regular meeting an hour later. Both meetings will be at the .

On the agenda for the special meeting are discussions concerning integration and equity, and the district’s English Language staffing and programming.

Among the agenda items for the 7 p.m. regular meeting are:

• An update on the soon-to-open Crystal Lake Education Center from Mark Klett, executive director of business services; Steve Porter, community education director; and Ranae Ouillette, director of special education and student services. Located in the former , CLEC will house the district’s Early Childhood Family Education and Early Childhood Special Education programs, as well as early childhood screnings and Small Wonders Preschool.
