Meeting Preview: City's Personnel Pay Plan, EML Grievance Hearing

Both Lakeville's City Council and School Board meet tonight.

Lakeville's City Council and School Board both meet tonight, and both have fairly active agendas.

Lakeville School Board meets at 4:30 p.m. this evening at the district office for a work session where the board will hold a grievence hearing for Lakeville's teachers union, Education Minnesota Lakeville.

The issue has to do with teachers who travel between Kenwood Trail and McGuire middle schools. McGuire starts and ends its day 15 minutes later Kenwood, and the teacher's union is requesting those teachers who travel from Kenwood in the morning, then to McGuire, be given a stipened to cover the extra 15 minutes of work time. The district however argues teachers can leave 15 minutes early.
