Lakeville has selected a replacement for an icon.

Brett Altergott, the current Parks and Recreation Director for the city of Germantown, WI, has been selected to fill the same position for the city of Lakeville.

Altergott fills the position vacated by Steve Michaud who retired in July of this year. The Parks and Recreation Director is responsible for the planning and coordination of activities of the City’s parks and recreation programs and facilities including the Lakeville Area Arts Center and the Heritage Center.

“Brett’s background and experience in the parks and recreation field as well as his passion and enthusiasm for sports and leisure activities make him a great fit for the position” said Steven Mielke, Lakeville's city administrator.
