Teen Injured in Bicycle-Versus-Car Crash
The youth, a 15-year-old bicyclist, was airlifted to Regions Hospital from the scene of Thursday's crash.
A Lakeville youth was seriously injured Thursday evening in a bicycle-versus-car crash on Ipava Avenue near Eastview Elementary School.
The 15-year-old bicyclist, who was wearing a bike helmet, was recovering from injuries at Regions Hospital on Friday night, says the Pioneer Press.
Police told the Pioneer Press that the teen was struck by a 2010 Toyota Prius while attempting to cross Ipava Avenue at about 6:30 p.m. Thursday. Heavy traffic was reported at the time of the crash.

The teen was flown by medical helicopter to the St. Paul hospital, says the Pioneer Press. The crash remained under investigation Friday night.
