Take Fire Safety Back to College

Here is this week's Lakeville Fire Department fire report.

WEEKLY FIRE ACTIVITY:
From Aug. 5 to Aug. 11, the Lakeville Fire Department responded to 14 calls for service: 1 medical, 1 motor vehicle accident with injuries, 1 cooking fire, 1 grass fire, 5 false alarm and 5 good intents.

FIRE PREVENTION TIP: Take Fire Safety Back to College
Many students are preparing to leave for college. A good “house warming gift” may include a smoke or carbon monoxide detector or even a fire extinguisher. Parents, please check your student’s living situation to see if any of these items are needed….It could save a life.
