Police: Woman Found Dead Outside Lakeville Home
The woman, who is in her 30s, was found on Illinois Court in Lakeville by family members.
A Lakeville woman was found dead outside her home on the 17500 block of Illinois Court on Tuesday, according to a statement from the Lakeville Police Department.
Lakeville police received a call at 3:52 p.m. on Tuesday to investigate the death. Police are treating the death as a suspicious until the Hennepin County Medical Examiner's Office determines the cause of death.
Police observed evidence of possible hypothermia prior to death, but do not know if the extreme cold played a role in the woman's death. The investigation is currently focused on tracing the woman's activities up to the time of her death.
The name of the woman is being withheld until family is notified, according to the statement from the police department.
