Police Dogs Put Best Paws Forward at Pan-O-Prog

The annual Pan-O-Prog K-9 demonstration attracts Lakeville residents, as well as local police officers.

Lakeville’s annual Pan-O-Prog festival is intended to be fun for everyone, police dogs included.

K-9 units from the Lakeville, Bloomington, Burnsville and Apple Valley police department put on a show for residents, as well as local law enforcement officers, at Antlers Park on Thursday morning.

While it appeared that the police dogs were working hard during the demonstration, the master of ceremonies for the event—Lakeville Police K-9 Officer Chad Loeffler—told the crowd that the canines were having fun sticking their teeth into biting sleeves and chasing down make-believe criminals.
