Lakeville Woman Killed in Friday Crash Identified

have identified the driver of a Jeep who was killed in a single-vehicle crash along Holyoke Avenue on Jan. 20.

Holly Rae Brett, 56, of Lakeville, was pronounced dead at the scene of the crash. She was the only occupant of a 2005 Jeep Cherokee which police say slid off southbound Holyoke Avenue sometime around 3:43 p.m., near the intersection of 190th Street, West. The Jeep careened into a tree and then flipped several times, police say.

Police say the investigation is ongoing, by both Lakeville Police and the Minnesota State Patrol.
