Lakeville Police, Motorist Seek Help in Hit and Run Car Crash

The Lakeville Police Department is searching for the driver of a "dark" truck after fleeing the scene of an accident Monday afternoon.

An unlucky motorist and the Lakeville Police Department are searching for the driver of a "dark" truck who fled the scene of a two-vehicle crash around 1 p.m. on Monday, Nov. 26.

The crash occurred when a truck collided with a 2001 Kia Sephia at the intersection of Heritage Drive and Idealic Avenue, near Teresa’s Mexican Restaurant. The driver of the truck fled the scene while the Kia was totaled.

The driver and witnesses were unable to a good description of the vehicle or license plate. The truck headed south after the accident.
