Gorge Armando Gonzalez, 31, also of Lakeville, is still in Dakota County jail today, in lieu of $45,000 bail. His son needed 20 stitches to his ear, according to a criminal complaint filed with the Dakota County Attorney’s Office on Feb. 1. The boy may also have a perforated eardrum, and could have hearing loss as a result of the incident, the complaint says.

The boy told Lakeville Police this isn’t the first time his father has assaulted him, according to the complaint. The boy said he has been “pushed around and hit” by Gonzalez before.
